ROOTS is published in the UK. If you live outside the UK, please see below for pricing information and tips on deciding whether you need a single or sharing subscription.
ROOTS offers two sets of resources: Adult & All Age and Children & Youth. You can subscribe to one set of resources, or both.
International subscriptions are digital only, so a subscription provides you with a year's online access to ROOTS.
How many web user accounts do you need?
Users log in to the ROOTS website using an email address and password.
In deciding how many web user accounts you need in your church community, you may find it useful to think about your continual and occasional users.
- Continual users use ROOTS most weeks in a range of contexts
e.g. ministers, employed children's or youth workers, licensed lay ministers or home group leaders.
Each continual user should be allocated their own user account on the website, using their own email address and password.
- Occasional users are people who may be on rotas 1-2 times a month, or less frequently
e.g. Junior Church or Messy Church leaders; youth group leaders; intercessors.
For these users, you could register a general email address, e.g. intercessors@yourchurch.org.uk or youth-churchname@gmail.com. You can then set up a user account on our website with a general email address and password, and give the details to the people on the rota.
If you do wish to set up new email address(es) for this purpose, please bear in mind that:
- only one person can log in to a user account at one time. Therefore, if you have two Sunday School leaders preparing for the same Sunday (for example), we strongly recommend that they use different user accounts.
- we will send emails from time to time, so someone will need to check the inbox of the email address that you've registered.
